According to The World Health Organisation 30% of the worlds natural environment has been destroyed, populations of freshwater fish and animals have halved and natural forests have declined by 10%...all in the past 30 years! With Australia being one of the 'wealthier' countries we have contributed partially to these statistics through consumption, toxic waste and depletion of natural resources.

As parents, we are relatively high consumers but we can greatly reduce our environmental impact by carefully considering the choices available to us and making some small changes at home. Even the smallest change makes a big difference like limiting your use of anything that is 'disposable'.

We have decided to support mainly Australian based environmental and children's charities/causes because our business is part of the retail (consumer) industry and we want to 'give something back'. However as we wish for a better earth this extends beyond Australian shores, so we will support overseas causes and emergencies via Australian based aid organisations when help is needed.

It is our mission to believe in something big...and we hope for a happier and healthier earth for our children.

How we do this...

On a bi-monthly basis we have chosen to donate business profits. Every two months we will let you know on our homepage what cause we have chosen to support and every purchase (excluding delivery charges) over $25 will see $1 donated to that cause.

1 Million Women is a registered charity that inspires women to become involved with climate action, pollution issues and sustainable living. Their goal is to raise awareness in reducing CO2 emissions from our everyday life.
